The 2023 regular season schedule for the New York Giants has been officially announced and although it may seem fabricated, it’s not.
Big Blue will open the season facing a historically difficult stretch with seven of their first 10 games on the road. Three games will be played over the first 11 days of the season and three of their first five games will come in prime time.
The Giants will also play the Philadelphia Eagles twice over a three-week span to end the season, including a game on Christmas Day.
Here is how Giants Twitter reacted to the news:
Pressure either bursts pipes or makes diamonds.

It's a historic stretch for the Giants to start the season. And not in a good way.
Have confidence in Schoen, Daboll & Co. This will feed these Giants. https://t.co/KZKYLdxqWV

Well the NFL did not do the Giants any favors after getting a chance to look at their full schedule. If the Giants do make the playoffs this year they will certainly be battle tested. Have to take advantage between wks 11-15. But we have to survive first. I think we can and will.

OFFICIAL: the Giants are the FIRST TEAM be forced to play on the road 7 times in the first 10 weeks of the season since the NFL reinstated bye weeks in 1990
the NFL has never forced a team to play on the road in 7 of the first 10 weeks OR in 7 of their first 10 games…until now

7 out of first 10 on road. Schedule makers in league office doesn’t like the #NYGiants https://t.co/vMU1xukn1D

ROAD WARRIORS! The Giants were 5-5 on the road if you count the playoffs in 2022. https://t.co/UBOl6x7Lmk

Initial schedule reaction is I hate all the home cold weather games for selfish reasons but man that is a brutal stretch of travel for almost the first 3/4 of the season w/ some decent teams in there too
@ MIA then @ BUF 2 tough teams b2b
Same with @ LV then @ DAL
+ @ NO + @ PHI— Justin Penik (@JustinPenik) May 11, 2023
On paper the Giants schedule is a difficult road to traverse. But remember a lot can change from now until some of those games.
Also if you want to eventually be the best, you have to beat the best. No shortcuts to that grind.

They know they can’t let the Giants get hot, the league would be in trouble. https://t.co/zmyimQx0RR

Does the NFL hate us? The #Eagles twice in the last 3 weeks 😩 as we said last night on Rush Hour …. In general the #NFL chose chaos with the scheduling this year #NYGiants #NYG #TogetherBlue #NFCEast #Giants #Eagles #Cowboys #Commanders https://t.co/dEWB85j8LT

It’s a “Show Me” season for the New York Football Giants.
Show Me last year wasn’t a fluke.
Show Me you’re for real DJ.
Show Me we’ve closed the gap on the likes of Philly and Dallas.
People are worried about the schedule. I say bring it the eff on. I want answers.

Am I the only one not that intimidated by the Giants schedule?
I am not a fan of record predictions this early but the Giants got a lot better this off season
