Giants expected to sign quarterback Davis Webb

Who says you can’t come home? And in that case, Davis Webb is reportedly coming back to where it all started for him. Webb is expected to sign with the New York Giants after coming in on Monday for a physical with the team, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

Webb is the Giants’ former third-round pick back in 2017; he never got to play a single snap for Big Blue that season and was waived prior to the 2018 campaign.

After being waived, Webb latched on with the New York Jets days later. He has been with the Buffalo Bills since 2019, thus, the familiarity with Giants new head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.

For his career, Webb has yet to throw an NFL pass, but does have two rushing attempts for negative three yards, which came from victory formation during the Bills’ 2021 Week 10 win over the New York Jets.
