Families who bought a Giant SureLock bike lock since March 2023 should check their keys. Giant Bicycle is recalling about 3,630 LED light keys sold in the U.S. because children can easily reach the button battery inside, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Oct. 8.
A swallowed button battery can cause serious injury, internal chemical burns, or death. No incidents or injuries have been reported, according to the CPSC.
