Gianni Infantino’s first presidential rival emerges with former Spurs defender set to stand in Fifa election

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ramon Vega hopes to stand against Gianni Infantino in next year’s elections as he aims to become the president of Fifa.

Vega is the first person to publically announce his intentions of challenging Infantino who had previously been rumoured to be standing unopposed for re-election.
