The Yankees more than survived the absence of Giancarlo Stanton for 10 weeks, but it was nice to finally have his big bat available for an added power boost.
"It's a good lineup," Aaron Boone joked.
Indeed, one day after recently acquired slugger Edwin Encarnacion made his pinstriped debut, Stanton was back in the middle of the batting order for the first time since March 31, batting fifth and playing right field Tuesday night against the Rays at the Stadium.
