A couple have told of their joy after landing £10,000 every month for 30 years on the National Lottery. Laura Hoyle, 40, and Kirk Stevens, 38, say they are "so chilled" after matching five main numbers and the Life ball.
During a phone call to Camelot, who runs the game, Laura said: "I'm just checking that's right before I, um, quit my job". A year on from their 'Set for Life' triumph, the couple revealed the money has helped them continue their passion for ghost hunting.
Manufacturing engineer Kirk has also used the money to pay for his Masters degree and buy a house together, NottinghamshireLive reports. "It still hasn’t really sunk in," Laura, of Nottingham, said.
