Ghana faced Austria and Germany in March as part of their preparations for the World Cup this summer, losing both. They were also beaten by Mexico at the end of May before a draw with Wales in their final preparatory match.

The Black Stars qualified for World Cup 2026 at a canter but are set to encounter much trickier squads in the tournament than they did in qualifying.
