GE Vernova (GEV) shares tanked on Monday after GLJ Research analyst Gordon Johnson initiated coverage of the energy equipment giant with a “Sell” rating. In his research note, Johnson announced an alarmingly bearish $470 price target, indicating GEV could be cut in half from its previous close over the next 12 months.
GLJ’s report arrives as GE Vernova stock is already in a downtrend, currently trading about 25% below its year-to-date high.
