Gethin Jones marked his birthday with a skiing break in Morzine, sharing photographs from the group trip on Instagram, including a snap with Pien Meulensteen.
The 48-year-old Morning Live presenter was pictured linking arms with the 29-year-old Dutch-born journalist as they celebrated with friends in the French Alps.
Meulensteen works across Sky Sports, ITV and the Premier League, and is also part of DAZN’s Women’s Champions League coverage.
Alongside the images, Jones wrote: “A quality few days in Morzine with a top class group ‘the padel princesses’.
“First time I went to the mountains I raced half pipe and tried a ski jump, this was around 20 years ago! I've been skiing a few times since then but decided to get my first lesson this time, and guess what, it really helped.”
He added: “Waiting for the queen of socials @pienmeulensteen to send some reels. Until then, he's my offering!”

The getaway comes after Helen Skelton addressed speculation about her relationship with Jones.
The 42-year-old Countryfile presenter and Jones, who co-host Morning Live, have been the subject of romance rumours in recent months after reports suggested they had enjoyed dates at a luxury spa.
Skelton, who separated from former rugby league player Richie Myler in 2022, dismissed the claims in an interview with The Mirror.
Asked whether the pair had been on romantic outings, she said: “No. Well, he's in Manchester working away, so yeah, no, all good.”
She added: “We just work together, we are not together. No, no, no. We are just work friends. They printed pictures of us at work and that we're together because we are at work together.”
The speculation intensified after the pair appeared side by side on the red carpet at ITV’s Pride of Britain Awards in October and later at a Royal Television Society event in Manchester.
While there were reports their long-standing friendship had developed into something more, despite claims the relationship had since “cooled”.
Prior to Skeleton’s comments, Jones appeared to shut down the dating rumours also.
On Morning Live, he seemed to hint he was single, while speaking to Christine McGuinness about her Situationships podcast.
As McGuinness and author Sophie Gravia discussed their own relationships, one mentioned being single for a long time, to which Jones responded with a three-word comment: “Join the club.”
