Ally McCoist jokingly urged a Celtic supporter to "get yourself in order" as he responded to a Scottish Premiership title presentation Santa Claus jibe.
The Ibrox hero was subject to a light-hearted dig from a Celtic supporter on talkSPORT this morning after Santa Claus presented the title at Parkhead on Saturday.
McCoist - on the breakfast slot with Jeff Stelling - was reminded "nothing is won at Christmas" in a message on Monday in a pointed jibe over the Santa celebrations.
Celtic had the league trophy presented by Santa Claus in a throwback to when he was booed by supporters during a 2-0 loss to Hearts back in December.
Stelling addressed McCoist with a message that read: "Santa was Celtic Park on Saturday to remind everyone nothing is won at Christmas."
McCoist took the troll message in good spirits but insisted listener John had to get himself and the Celtic support in order over their previous treatment of Old Saint Nick.
He responded: "Not bad. However, John you cannot be treating Santa Claus like that!
"I don't care who you are, what fan base you are, you need to get yourself in order mate."
Detailing the bonkers title presentation to co-host Stelling, McCoist explained: "You know the story? The story is hilarious.
"When they were going through a not-so-successful couple of weeks and the fans had turned on everybody. They booed Santa Claus.
"I mean what state has the club got to be in if you are booing Santa Claus. It can't get any lower than that can it?
"However, they did the right thing and got Santa back for the big day so fair play."
