Former Manchester United transfer target Jurrien Timber was spotted walking down Wembley Way in the build-up to Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City.
The Ajax defender, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday later this month, was United manager Erik ten Hag's top target to strengthen the club's defensive options for a period last summer. The latter worked with Timber at Ajax and was keen to be reunited with him at Old Trafford.
United wanted to strengthen their centre-back options from the very start of last summer's transfer window and were linked with a whole host of targets. In the end, though, they settled on Lisandro Martinez, who was snapped up from Ajax for a fee just north of £50million.

Timber has once again been linked with United again in recent weeks. He is reportedly attracting plenty of interest from big-name European clubs ahead of the transfer window opening later this month.
Capable of playing at both right-back and centre-back, Timber is a player who is not short on versatility and potential. United could look to strengthen both their right-back and centre-back options this forthcoming summer, meaning the Netherlands international could remerge as a target once again.
