Pack your swimmers, your dancing shoes and a sense of adventure and head to the stunning Barrington Coast for the 12th annual Lakeside Festival.
Why not grab your friends and family, too, and make a weekend of it? It's all happening from November 1 to 3 at Forster Tuncurry.
Comedy night
The festival weekend kicks off with comedy at Club Forster on the Friday night, headlined by Troy Kinne and with side-splitting performances by Des Dowling, Ellen Briggs, Brett Nichols and Steve Hoskins. Kinne is best known for his television shows Kinne Tonight and Kinne but is also a regular guest on Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Hundred with Andy Lee.
Music festival
John Wright Park in Tuncurry is the place to be on the Saturday. The fun kicks off at 10.30am with children's activities, food trucks, the Lakeside Pop Up Bar and, of course, live music. And this year, for the first time, Lakeside Festival has two stages which will allow for a continuous flow of music throughout the day.
Up-and-coming performers from school and community groups will perform in the morning with home-grown superstars The Goodfellas and Anna-Vee's Blue Smoke.
Later in the day there's Kevin Borich Express, Brooke and Adam, James Keith Band and Owen Campbell and, finally, headliners The Rogue Traders who, it turns out, have never visited the Barrington Coast before.
The band is best known for their electro-rock hit, Voodoo Child.
"We are super excited to bring our show to the Lakeside Festival. We have heard all about the natural beauty and the incredible venue where we will be playing and just can't wait to bring our party to you all," lead singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte says.
"Get ready to party, get ready to have the best time, get your dancing shoes on, get your singing voice out and just have a good time. That is what we are all about."
Fans can expect Rogue Traders to play their biggest hits with some new songs thrown in.
"We don't take ourselves too seriously but we take our music very seriously and every time we come on stage we make sure we reach everybody in the crowd," James Ash (keyboard, guitar) says.
"We will be playing a mix of new music and, of course, all the hits we are known for.
"We want to give our audience the time of their lives."
Progressive lunch
The third and final day of the festival is all about Lakeside Long Lunch, spanning several lakefront venues.
Enjoy breakfast at Paradise Marina before jumping on Aussie Boat Shed's "hop-on hop-off' water taxi for a cruise on Wallis Lake to The Deck, where the team will have brunch ready.
This is followed by a short stroll to East 33 Degrees for lunch, then a water taxi back across the lake to the Lakes and Ocean Hotel where you can settle in for the afternoon and enjoy live music.
