If you’re struggling to get into the Christmas spirit then head down to the Five sisters and enjoy a feast of festive fun at their annual illumination trail.
The zoo is keeping the park open after dark for a number of evenings in the coming weeks to celebrate the festivities.
There are thousands of lights & Christmas decorations covering the grounds of the zoo, a Santa’s grotto experience (must be booked in advance), festive market stalls, food & drink stalls, heated bar area, mallow toasting, kids rides and of course the wonderful animals.
