Leicester City's final-day win over West Ham United was not enough to keep them in the Premier League and James Maddison now looks set to leave the club this summer.
The England international has been linked with Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur this year - with his contract at the King Power Stadium running until next summer. Maddison leads the list of Leicester's big-name players who will surely be targeted by top-flight clubs in the upcoming transfer window.
The season ended in heartbreak for Maddison and his teammates, with Leicester dropping into the Championship just two years after lifting the FA Cup and seven years on from their remarkable Premier League title-winning campaign. Once again, the attacking midfielder racked up strong numbers for Leicester, but it was not enough.
RATINGS: De Gea and Malacia good in Fulham win
Maddison netted 10 goals and assisted nine in the league; this summer promises to bring endless speculation regarding his next potential move. Erik ten Hag is in the market for another midfield player, with Mason Mount the latest name to be linked.
But Maddison is now the name on the lips of plenty of United supporters, with his Premier League talent proven over the course of the last five seasons. The 26-year-old has hit double figures for goals in the last two campaigns, while playing over 30 games in all five years with Leicester.
Here's what some United fans had to say about Maddison, following the Foxes' relegation.
