Glaswegian singer Gerry Cinnamon has taken to social media to thank his loyal fans who turned out in their thousands to see the musician play at a sold-out Hampden Stadium at the weekend.
The Canter singer took to Twitter to say: "Cheers Hampden x", as he posted three photos of the unbelievable weekend, giving a thumbs up to the adoring crowd who gathered on Saturday and Sunday. The post has garnered over 6,500 likes and 350 retweets, with hundreds of replies flooding in too.

One Twitter user posted a video of the crowd moments after he had departed the stage, as the audience was still bouncing along for a long time after the concert concluded. The Twitter user said: "Absolute cracking night on Sunday, well worth the near 1000 mile round trip on what was the hottest weekend ever!! This was as people were leaving!!"
Another replied to this tweet, saying: "Aw this was brilliant. Everyone bouncing on way out. Wish I could do it all again."
A third said: "You was insane mate. Seen you 4 times now. Hampden was the best I've ever been to. Nice one Gerry and the Scots."
More comments read: "Bloody brilliant night! Such a great atmosphere! Everyone was in the mood for a party!" While others added: "Came from the North East of England on Friday night. First time in Glasgow and I absolutely loved the place and the people. You didn't disappoint. You were fantastic. And the atmosphere was immense. Can't wait for the next one! #HWFG"
Another Twitter user wrote: "Brilliant! My first time in Glasgow too and echo your words it’s a great city! 520 mile round trip for me but would do it again tomorrow."
And finally, one concluded: "Absolutely amazing night. Support were all brilliant, but you absolutely smashed it man. Thank you."
Gerry Cinnamon played at Hampden Park on Saturday July 16 and Sunday July 17 to a total of 100,000 fans, with support acts from The Charlatans, Jake Bugg and The Snuts, Travis and Vistas.
