An international friendly between Germany and Belgium tonight pits two teams desperate to change their fortunes ahead of Euro 2024.
Hansi Flick’s Germany will host the tournament having endured a dismal run at major competitions in recent years, falling at the group stage in both of the last two World Cups along with an early exit at Euro 2020. Niclas Fullkrug scored both goals as they beat South American nation Peru last week.
Belgium, meanwhile, also fell early in Qatar and are now under the tutelage of Domenico Tedesco, who oversaw a morale-boosting qualification win over Sweden on his debut as Romelu Lukaku bagged a hat-trick.
