Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Rara Thomas has reportedly been suspended indefinitely following his arrest early on July 26 in Athens-Clarke County. He is being held without bail.
Thomas faces multiple charges including second-degree cruelty to children (family violence) and battery (family violence).
“According to an Athens-Clarke County police statement, police responded to a domestic violence call at 1:34 a.m. Friday on Mill Creek Way. Police said the domestic violence was against Thomas’ child,” wrote Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald. “Thomas was charged and booked into the Clarke County jail.
