Georgia Harrison's life was turned upside down in an instant when she discovered that the man she trusted had betrayed her in the most unimaginably vile way.
Back on a sunny August afternoon in 2020, the former Love Islander met up with reality star Stephen Bear, 33, at his home in Essex.
Lunch turned into drinks, which ended with consensual sex in the garden of his home in the plush village of Loughton.
The rendezvous was caught on CCTV and Bear went on to upload the video to subscription site, OnlyFans, without Georgia's consent.
Following his trial in December, Bear was found guilty of voyeurism by a majority verdict, and guilty of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress by an unanimous verdict by a jury.
Bear received a 21-month prison sentence at Chelmsford Crown Court earlier this month.
Georgia, 28, waived her right to anonymity to give a full statement in court, outlining the damage done to her mental and physical health, along with her career.
She said: "He's left me feeling hurt, embarrassed, insignificant and insecure in so many ways. I simply don't have the confidence I used to have."
On the video's leak, Georgia continued: "Millions of people were watching me and laughing at me and it was completely, utterly out of my control.
"Even when people weren't talking about it I just couldn't physically be in the room."
With Bear behind bars, Georgia has bravely decided to relive her ordeal for a new ITV documentary called Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear.
Ahead of its release next week, The Mirror explores how the star's world imploded in the space of one afternoon.
The encounter
Giving evidence in court, Georgia told how in August 2020, she and Bear met up hungover at his house after separate nights out, and went out for lunch before having drinks back at his place.
She said she was 'feeling drunk' by the time they went outside to his garden to play cards.
They ended up having sex in the garden, and Georgia told the court the intercourse was, "a lot more exciting, a lot more dramatic than usual, when I look back."
It was only after the act that Bear told her the CCTV in his garden might have captured it, and she demanded to see the footage.
Georgia recalled how she told him, "If anyone sees that it's going to change my life, it's going to change yours," but said his response made her feel she was being 'really uptight', and 'exaggerating something that wasn't intentional'.
That evening, Georgia said she saw Bear send the video to someone on WhatsApp - which he admitted to her - but he insisted it had since been deleted and the recipient wouldn't send it to anyone anyway.
At that point, Georgia broke down.
"I was crying because I then realised potentially he was going to spread it and I realised the situation I got myself into. I was upset because I thought he had respect for me," she said.
"I told him it would completely ruin my life and ruin his career and if he wants to send it to anyone it would be revenge porn, you go to prison for revenge porn and I would call the police."
She described how Bear calmed her down and was nice to her, and said he "would never do that".
The discovery
Georgia told how a few months later, people started telling her they had seen clips or screenshots of the footage, and a fan from America even got in touch about it.
She described how in December she saw an advert for the footage on Bear's OnlyFans page.
And she told The Sun how she logged on to Stephen's OnlyFans page to find "a screenshot of him on top of me in his garden".
She told the outlet: "He put the caption as something along the lines of: 'Sign up now for 50 per cent off to see me f*ing this bch in my garden.' It made me feel so violated."
The devastated star added: "All I've ever done was be good to him as a friend and as more."
The impact
Georgia was so distraught that she nearly died after discovering the betrayal.
The star went into septic shock just after the footage was released, with her major organs affected.
"When it first happened, the physical effects on me were just horrific. I had acne come up all over my face. I ended up getting a cyst infection - the cyst eventually burst - and I was in hospital from stress," she told The Sun.
"They said my kidneys, my pelvis, and multiple organs were infected, and I was going into septic shock."
No apology
There has been no apology from Bear, Georgia has said, explaining that it's 'like my feelings don't matter'.
And the former Celebrity Big Brother star made no moves to correct that as he arrived at court ahead of the sentencing.
"Would you like to apologise to Georgia Harrison?" one reporter questioned, but Bear refused to respond.
He said: "As you can see, everybody has made up their minds about me already so there's no point in me even answering any more questions."
"This it is, fingers crossed it goes well today," he said after a reporter asked him if he would like to apologise. "Any maybe I'll get some sort of justice for this whole situation.
Another reporter asked him if he felt any remorse. He responded by chewing his gum and turning around to wave at people.
When asked about providing an apology again, he ignored the reporter and asked a fan if they wanted a picture with him.
* Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear airs on on Monday, March 20 at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
