The Georgia Bulldogs versus Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets rivalry is getting turned on its head. Georgia hosts Georgia Tech on Black Friday this year (on Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET).
Next year, Georgia and Georgia Tech will play in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia Tech was previously scheduled to host the game at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The Georgia-Georgia Tech game being played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium is part of a concerning trend of college football games being played at off-campus neutral sites as opposed to on-campus stadiums. Georgia is now scheduled to play two neutral site games in 2025 with the other being Georgia’s usual game in Jacksonville, Florida, against the Florida Gators.
