Last week, the Georgia Bulldogs extended a scholarship offer to 2026 athlete Tyriq Green.
Green hails from Marietta, Georgia, where he attends Kell High School.
At 6-feet, 170 pounds, Green plays both sides of the ball at Kell. During his sophomore season in 2022, he had 39 carries for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added 25 tackles on defense. Green would likely play defensive back at Georgia.
Green currently holds 15 offers, with Mississippi State, Missouri and South Carolina joining UGA as SEC programs to have offered him. Georgia Tech also offered Green in June.
As of now, Green does not have any national rankings on 247Sports due to his class of 2026 standing.
