The 2023 NFL Combine is upon us as approximately 300 prospects head to Indianapolis for meetings and workouts with NFL teams.
Georgia star defensive lineman Jalen Carter is one of 12 Bulldogs set to make the trip ahead of the 2023 NFL draft this spring.
Carter is considered as one of the marquee prospects that will content for the top overall pick. The All-American will not participate in workouts this week and will instead workout at Georgia’s Pro Day on March 15.

It’s not an unprecedented move for a player of Carter’s caliber to elect to forgo workouts in at the Combine in favor of performing on the field at their respective Pro Day.
Carter is currently ranked as the No. 1 prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper’s big board and was recently selected No. 1 overall to the Chicago Bears in NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah’s Mock Draft 2.0.
