A Georgia couple has been sentenced to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to sexually abusing their two adopted sons. William Zulock pleaded guilty to multiple charges including aggravated sodomy, child molestation, incest, and sexual exploitation of children. His husband, Zachary Zulock, also pleaded guilty to various charges related to sexual abuse and exploitation.
District Attorney Randy McGinley expressed the severity of the case, referring to the Zulocks' actions as creating a 'house of horrors' and prioritizing their dark desires above all else. The victims, who were in third and fourth grade at the time of the arrests, showed remarkable strength throughout the legal process.
The investigation began after authorities received a tip about suspected child sexual abuse material uploaded to a Google account linked to the Zulocks. Subsequent interviews with the couple revealed admissions of sexual abuse against their adopted sons.
Electronic evidence, including surveillance footage and digital devices containing explicit content, further corroborated the abuse allegations. McGinley commended the efforts of law enforcement in bringing justice to the victims and ensuring the Zulocks face significant consequences for their actions.
McGinley emphasized the importance of adopting children in need but stressed that those who abuse such vulnerable individuals deserve severe punishment. The sentencing of the Zulocks serves as a deterrent against similar crimes and a message that such behavior will not be tolerated.
Additionally, two other individuals involved in the case, Hunter Clay Lawless and Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, were prosecuted and sentenced for their roles in the abuse. Lawless admitted to receiving illicit material from Zachary Zulock, while Vizcarro-Sanchez pleaded guilty to related charges.
The resolution of this case aims to provide closure to the victims and prevent future harm, ensuring that the perpetrators remain incarcerated for the rest of their lives.
