No. 5 Georgia showcased a strong performance as they defeated Auburn 31-13 in a sweltering Saturday matchup. Trevor Etienne scored two touchdowns, while Carson Beck threw two scoring passes to secure the win for the Bulldogs.

Following their first regular-season loss in almost four years to No. 1 Alabama, Georgia's victory was further sweetened by Alabama's unexpected upset by Vanderbilt. This turn of events boosted Georgia's standing in the league race and provided a morale boost for the team and its fans.
