The Georgia Bulldogs baseball program has signed the No. 3 transfer class in the country according to 64Analytics. The Bulldogs, who lost in the super regional to NC State last season, are looking to replenish much of their roster via the portal.
Georgia signed 10 top-250 transfers and is bringing in the country’s top hitting transfer class. Manager Wes Johnson and Georgia are looking to return to the College World Series for the first time in over a decade. Georgia will have to navigate a very tough SEC during the 2025 season.
Georgia will have to try to win in 2025 without superstar Charlie Condon, who was the third pick in the 2024 MLB draft. Condon leaves Georgia as the top hitter in program history.
Georgia’s top transfer is Texas-Arlington standout Ryan Black. Black recorded five home runs, 41 RBIs and batted .278 a season ago.
Overall, Georgia baseball has 16 incoming transfers. The Bulldogs’ incoming transfer class is ranked behind only Arkansas and LSU.
