George Michael fans in Dundee are celebrating the news that a tribute documentary is set to be shown at the DCA.
George Michael Freedom Uncut will be premiered around the world next month.
It has promised to give a glimpse into the WHAM! singer-songwriter's personal life.
The behind-the-scenes film was narrated and co-directed by Michael before he died in 2016, and was planned for a release at the time.
It will now be seen by millions on June 22, three days before what would have been his birthday celebrations.
Michael's friend David Austin, who co-directed the film, said the star was "heavily involved and dedicated" in the production of George Michael Freedom Uncut .
Never-before-seen first-hand and archive footage looks at Michael's career and the making of his best-selling 1990 album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 .
It also showcases the relationship between Michael and his first love, Anselmo Feleppa, who died after being diagnosed with HIV in 1993 during the singer's famous lawsuit against Sony.
Featuring interviews with some of Michaels’ most famous friends and music legends, including Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Ricky Gervais, Nile Rogers, Mark Ronson, Tracey Emin, Liam Gallagher, Mary J. Blige, Jean Paul Gaultier, James Corden and Tony Bennett.
The event will also include the iconic David Fincher-directed Freedom 90’ music video, remastered in 4K.
