George Kittle hilariously gestured like a happy CB after breaking up a Brock Purdy interception

It’s never a bad thing in the NFL to have a great tight end. It’s even better if your great tight end can also break up a possible interception with style. (And if he can have a lot of fun, too.)

That’s how San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle’s night started against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football at home.

On an errant Brock Purdy pass that was nearly intercepted by Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, Kittle sprung into action to stop the would-be turnover and celebrated the play like only a proud cornerback coud.

It was a stellar play by Kittle, one that shows why he’s not just a guy who can catch passes. He’s also a guy that can break them up.
