Instead, the couple remains rather private and primarily resides in the south of France. The pair made a high-profile return to the spotlight on Wednesday when they made a grand entrance at the Venice Film Festival. While there, the Ocean’s Eleven star made new comments on his own wedding that was held in the Floating City almost 12 years ago.
The Clooneys are at the prestigious film festival because the actor, who turned 65 in May, is being honored with a lifetime achievement award called the Golden Lion. After landing in the Italian city, the actor/producer was asked about his “favorite memory” in Venice, and he said this:
