George at Asda shoppers 'obsessed' with mini t-shirt dresses that are 'so cute and cheap'

George at Asda shoppers are impressed with a mini t-shirt dress that comes in two colours after spotting it online.

Supermarket favourite Asda's in-house brand George boasts a loyal army of followers, keen to snap up its extensive range of stylish yet budget-friendly womenswear, childrenswear, menswear and accessories.

Like many of its high street competitors, George utilises social media to maintain a connection with shoppers, posting photos and videos of its newest product releases online to keep them updated on what they can expect to find in stores. Currently, George has amassed 749K followers on Instagram.

One recent Instagram post caused excitement among fashion lovers. George shared an image of its mini t-shirt dress (£12) in two variations; one in black and one in ever popular leopard print.

T-shirt dresses remain a firm favourite among shoppers, with a range of stores selling similar versions. Online shopping juggernaut ASOS stocks hundreds of t-shirt dresses in a range of styles, at a variety of price points. John Lewis also offers a wide range to choose from.

Captioning the image of the dresses on Instagram, George at Asda said: "Because you can never have too many t-shirt dresses [black heart emoji] Especially when prices start from just £12."

The dresses proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 1K likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.

One fan said: "Obsessed with these they're so gorge", while another said: "So cute! And so cheap". Hayley tagged her friend Lisa and commented: "This is deffo me n u", to which Lisa replied: "need these".

Other shoppers simply posted emojis to show their appreciation for the dresses, while some tagged their friends to direct them to the post. On George's website, the dresses have received similar praise, though some shoppers warn the fit is on the large side so may not suit all body types.

One customer said: "Nice dress but very big and looked like a bag in me! Returned as no shape to it." Others advised sizing down to get a better fit, with one shopper adding: "Great little dress for holiday wear". You can find your nearest Asda store by clicking here.
