George at Asda shoppers are impressed with its new range of summer sandals after spotting them online.
Supermarket favourite Asda's in-house brand George boasts a loyal army of fans thanks to its extensive line-up of stylish yet affordable womenswear, childrenswear, menswear and accessories.
Like its high street competitors, George makes use of social media to share photos and videos of its newest product releases with shoppers to keep them in the loop on what they can expect to find in stores. Currently, George has amassed 751K followers on Instagram.

The warm weather is finally here and many fashion lovers are keen to track down stylish wardrobe additions suited to the new season, or ideal for any summer holidays. George recently caused a stir after sharing a photo of its new sandals and sliders, which start at £7, and were compared to pricier versions by the ever popular Birkenstock brand.
Sandals and sliders remain a popular accessory sported during the spring and summer months, with a range of stores selling similar versions. Famed brand Birkenstock sells a variety of styles, ranging in price from £40 up to more than £105.
Many high street stores and online retailers sell cheaper dupes, with Shein selling a range of colour options for £13.99. EGO also stocks a similar style for £16.
Captioning a flatlay image of its sandals on Instagram, George at Asda penned: "Introducing: warm-weather accessories that are giving finishing touch Prices from £7." The shoes proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up hundreds of likes in just the first few hours the image was posted.
Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section. One enthusiastic shopper said: "Omg they look just like Birkenstocks! In LOVE". Sara Lou told a friend: "Need a visit".
