Aaron Chalmers has goaded Floyd Mayweather by joking that their 'fight is off' on doctor's orders as he's been 'carrying' all the hype around next week's bout.
It was announced last month that Newcastle star Aaron, who shot to fame on Geordie Shore in 2013, would be getting into the ring with Flloyd, who won 15 major world championships between 1996 and 2017, before going onto to appear in cities across the world, including Newcastle as an after dinner speaker, as well as carving out a career as a boxing promoter.
Aaron and Floyd will go head to head at the world famous O2 Arena in London on Saturday, February 25, the night before Newcastle United take on Manchester United at Wembley., with Aaron hoping it's going to be a winning weekend all round for the Geordies.
Discussing the bout, Floyd told the Mirror. “ I was originally supposed to face a different opponent, but injuries happen and I’m glad that Aaron Chalmers could step up so that we could give the fans what they want.

"The fans in the UK have always been great to me and supported me throughout my career, so an event like this has been a long time coming. I’m excited to add more history to The O2 arena in London.”.
Well now former MMA fighter Aaron has turned the screw by taking to Instagram for a dig at Floyd over his lack of promotion for the fight. In the video filmed in his car, Aaron said: "I've just been to the doctors and unrfortiunately the fight's off. They say there's too much strain and pressure on my back and shoulders, from carrying this whole f**king show."
He continued: "I'm doing all the press, I'm doing all the media, I'm doing all the call out videos, while Floyd is walking around buying pink f**king Birkin handbags.
"So while he's buying handbags I'm doing everything, literally everything. He's walking around with 30 security guards."
Aaron ended the video: "So all I'm going to say is: this time next week....50 and 1."
