A huge shake-up by BT Sport will see Geordie Lynsey Hipgrave replace Jake Humphrey as BT Sport's Premier League coverage host, ahead of the brand new season.
Lynsey, who has hosted much of the channel's Europa League coverage over the past couple of seasons, will replace Jake in the hot seat and present her first match this weekend live from Craven Cottage, as Fulham take on Liverpool in the season opener.
Humphrey has been the face of BT Sport's Saturday show alongside ex-footballers Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch and Joe Cole in the past. The 43-year-old from Peterborough will instead continue to front the channel's Champions League coverage.

Hipgrave announced the news on Twitter. In a post to her 70,000 followers, she wrote: "After a weekend of dreams coming true for women in football the dreams of a football-mad Geordie lass have also come true…I couldn't be any prouder to be leading @btsport's Premier League coverage this season. We KO with Fulham v Liverpool on Saturday at 11.30am BT Sport 1."
The Mirror reports that Humphrey replied: "You're going to be amazing Lynsey. So delighted for you. Please just let me back for the odd game."
Lynsey came through the ranks at BBC Radio 5 Live, before landing her big break in sports television with Al Jazeera. The 42-year-old began presenting with BT Sport in 2013, also featuring on Eurosport, talkSPORT, Discovery+ and Mola Sport.
As well as this weekend's EPL clash, she will take the lead when Southampton face Manchester United later this month, as well as when the Red Devils play her beloved Newcastle United on the final day of August.
