This morning Sunny the Greyhound clocked up 6,000 hours as a homeless hound without a lap to lounge on or a family to call his own.
That's more than eight months in the care of an animal sanctuary who say he would make the perfect pet and they can't understand why he hasn't been snapped up.
Today as the clock ticks on, the folk at Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary have asked for special attention to be given to Sunny in the hope that he find a home before he gives up.
