A new update is launching next month in Genshin Impact that introduces new content to the game. Update Version 4.7 is titled "An Everlasting Dream Intertwined" and is coming out on June 5. One of the highlights is the addition of new playable characters.
There's a total of three new characters joining the roster and two of these are able to make use of the Bond of Life mechanic in different ways. The first is the Champion Duelist of Fontaine Clorinde. When she reaches what's known as her "Night Vigil" state, she's able to alternate between different attack styles. Her piercing pistolet attacks for example accumulate Bond of Life and she also has a lunging sword attack which can clear her Bond of Life while restoring HP. During her "Night Vigil" state, any healing effect received through other means are added to her Bond of Life rather than HP.
The second playable character is the five-star Electro sword wielder Sigewinne. As a Melusine as well as head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide, she can use the Bond of Life to help her teammates. Her healing is increased based on the total Bond of Life values across all the characters that are in her party. During combat, Sigewinne can release a giant bouncing bubble to trap and attack nearby enemies and at the same time heal and buff her team.

In addition to the two Fontainian characters, players can also look forward to the new four-star archer Sethos arriving in the game. While in combat, he can fire piercing Electro arrows. Meanwhile, his Charge Level 2 attack restricts his movements through it allows him to fire a formidable and piercing shot.
As the successor to the Temple of Silence, he can initiate a ritual through his Elemental Skill. It consumers Elemental Energy to shorten the time it takes to charge and then restore it when he needs his attacks to activate any type of Electro-related Elemental Reaction. His Elemental Burst is also able to fire consecutive enemy-piercing bolts.
Event Wishes
The upcoming update launches Event Wishes with the first half focusing on Clorinde and Sethos. The second half then features Sigewinne. By the way, Clorinde and Sigewinne's Story Quests become available for Travelers.
