The Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream is just around the corner, with details about the next banner set, including the Hydro Archon Furina; Fontaine events, quality-of-life updates, and more. HoYoverse announced the livestream start times on Twitter, and you’ll get to watch it on YouTube as well – not just the video-on-demand version like usual. While the leaks aren’t positive about what new tricks HoYoverse has in store for the free-to-play game, it’s almost certain that more of the Fontaine region will open up, and we’ll face off against at least one new boss.
We’ll be updating our Genshin Impact promo code page with the livestream’s codes, so make sure to bookmark it and check back before they expire.

What to expect from the Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream
Genshin Impact 4.2 is Furina’s time to shine, at least if leakers and previous version updates are anything to go by. She’ll (probably) feature in the update’s first banner is the new 5-star character, and Charlotte the Cryo healer will more than likely show up alongside Furina as one of the 4-stars.
A new section of Fontaine will accompany the Hydro Archon, and it’s where you’ll explore to find one of her ascension materials, the new item Lakelight Lily.
HoYoverse also announced several quality-of-life updates, including the option to challenge Trounce Domains without completing their associated quests – handy for new players leveling up characters from Sumeru and Fontaine – visible unlock conditions for story quests and hangout events, and an increase in the number of pins your map can hold at one time.
