Genshin Impact 3.5 banners include Dehya and a Shenhe rerun

HoYoverse announced the Genshin Impact 3.5 banners during the new version’s livestream preview, and the rerun is a bit of a surprise. The 5-star Pyro character Dehya makes her debut, as expected, but appearing alongside her in the first phase of banners is Cyno. The second phase was even more of a surprise for those who expected a Mondstadt-themed set of banners, though it’s a long overdue rerun for one character.

Genshin Impact 3.5 goes live March 1, 2023, so if you’re still after Hu Tao or Yelan, you have a bit of time left to try your luck on the current 3.4 banners.

Genshin Impact 3.5 banners – First phase

The first set of banners will go live on March 1, 2023, and feature Dehya and Cyno. Dehya is a 5-star Pyro claymore user who specializes in applying Pyro across a wide area, making her useful for triggering Melt, Vaporize, and even Burgeon reactions. Unlike most 5-star characters, Dehya won’t disappear after her banner. She’ll appear in the standard banner once the first half of version 3.5 ends.

The second banner running alongside hers features Cyno, a 5-star Electro polearm user. Cyno is essentially Razer, but stronger. If you time his skill just right, you can keep his burst going for much longer than usual.

As always, HoYoverse hasn’t announced the 4-star characters who will appear on both banners.

Genshin Impact 3.5 banners – Second phase

The second phase of banners begins March 22, 2023, and will feature Shenhe and Ayaka as their 5-star characters. Ayaka uses a sword and can apply Cryo to her normal and charged attacks just by sprinting. Shenhe wields a polearm, and her skill can buff the party’s elemental power or attack power, depending on how you use it.

Mika, a 4-star Cryo support character, makes his debut on both banners. His talents let him increase the party’s physical attack – a unique ability in a game that typically favors elemental attacks over straight-up brawling.

Despite showing Albedo in the livestream preview and having Mondstadt events, it looks like we won’t be seeing Eula again anytime soon. Still, Shenhe and Ayaka both have high base attack and will benefit from Mika’s buffs. It’s also not certain yet who the other 4-star characters on both banners will be.
