A kind and caring five-year-old boy has delivered a huge amount of donations to CDW Foodbank in West Denton.
Archie Mair's fundraising exploits began as an act of kindness for his school homework but soon progressed into a real passion as he collected donations of food and money.
Archie and his mum Leanne Mair, from West Denton, got in touch with a local convenience store, who kindly supplied Archie with crates full of food that he could donate.
'#TeamArchie' has even been trending on Twitter as the young boy's kindness captured the attention of the North East.

Proud mum Leanne has spoken about the reaction to his donations.
"It all started when Archie was given his act of kindness homework, and he came to me saying 'Mum what is Christmas like for the less fortunate?' After I explained to him about foodbanks and the role that they play, he was eager to help out as much as he could.
"The reaction from the local people and all over social media has been amazing. It has been such a great feeling to see so many people donating food and money to Archie's cause. He has raised over £200 and has used the money to buy essential items for CDW Foodbank."
The CDW Foodbank is based in West Denton Community Church and they take donations and use them to fight hunger.
Archie dropped off his donations on Sunday afternoon, wearing a Santa Claus outfit.
He has also been named Fundraiser of the Year 2022 at the foodbank and they have also asked him to come in and volunteer once a week so he continue the work he's doing.
Zara St Clair, the director of CDW Foodbank said: "Archie is a super star for what he has done. It is incredible to think that a five-year-old has raised as much as he has. We would love for him to come and volunteer with us so that he can continue doing something that he's clearly so passionate about."
