Gemma Owen 's rumoured love interest has shut down dating suggestions, saying there is a huge reason why it wouldn't work.
Grime star Bugzy Malone took to his Instagram page to tell his followers he is not in a relationship with Gemma, and he would have an issue with her age.
The 32-year-old pointed out that Gemma is 19, meaning they would have a 13 year age gap between them.
Sharing a clip of himself posing topless in the mirror which then transitioned into him wearing a smart light blue shirt and beige trousers, the star tagged former footballer Michael Owen in the post.
Bugzy Malone captioned the post: "@themichaelowen your daughter looks lovely rkid, but 19 just isn’t my cup of tea or coffee."
Fans of the star took to the comments to applaud him for the post.
One wrote: "That’s how you address a rumour, Top G."
While a second said: "anyone who believed that anyway is clueless tell em bugz," with a third adding: "Thank you for shutting this down I was getting upset."
A fourth commented: "Lesson on how to address rumours right here. Get them told."
Gemma herself also shut down the rumours, saying she was still single after her split from fellow Love Island star Luca Bish.
The MailOnline reported that she said she has "never met or spoken to" the grime artist, and she isn't dating following her split from Luca Bish.
She confirmed that the TikTok rumour surrounding herself and Bugzy, real name Aaron Davies, is inaccurate and the pair don't even follow each other on social media.
Gemma said: "I have never met or spoken to him and we don't follow each other on social media. I am not dating and I am definitely single. Just after Christmas, I had much needed time with my family and friends and I am working on myself. I am not going to date anytime soon and I'm not looking.
"On a personal level, I want to work on my happiness and investing time in people close to me, my family and friends and just being content in myself."
Luca and Gemma called time on their relationship three months after leaving the villa following a holiday in Dubai where the Luca met Gemma's dad Michael.
In a statement they said they'd come to the "mutual but difficult" decision to split up.
In a statement Gemma said: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now."
