Gemma Collins was left "shocked" after someone stole a £50 note which she had been trying to give to a homeless man.
The former TOWIE star, 41, had been celebrating her fiancé Rami Hawash's 49th birthday at the Mayfair Hotel in London on Wednesday. As she left the venue, Gemma noticed a homeless man holding a sign saying he was hungry.
The GC generously tried to give him money but reportedly "screamed" as someone else took the note from her hand and ran off with it.
"She wanted to do a good thing. She only had two £50 notes in cash," an eyewitness told The Sun.
They added: "The homeless man had a sign saying he was hungry and needed food.
"She was shocked that this happened - she would have helped him too if he had just asked."
Gemma then reportedly gave the homeless man another £50 so he could buy food.
Gemma's representative declined to comment.
Earlier in the evening, the reality star enjoyed a dinner date with Rami at the upmarket restaurant Sexy Fish. She wore a black silk dress which showed off her incredible three stone weight loss.
Gemma paired her dress with a black cardigan which featured feather cuffs. She also wore black glittery shoes and completed her outfit with a silver necklace.
Gemma flashed a sparkling diamond engagement ring as she was seen smiling lovingly at her partner.
The couple were accompanied by close friend and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jonathan Cheban.
Gemma almost didn't make the evening after being forced to seek urgent medical attention after collapsing during filming in Wales earlier this month.
Gemma explained how she became "really unwell" with a mystery virus, with Rami fearing he'd have to have to rush her to hospital.
Speaking to OK! she said: "I have been so ill I cannot tell you. My workload has been a lot, but I've had a virus. I've been really, really, really unwell.
"I literally had to film up in Wales and I was very unwell. I had to call the doctor out and the doctor said to me, 'Look I'm going to give you medicine but I actually think this is a virus and it's not going to work.'
"Basically, I've been on drips. Rami nearly had to take me to the hospital on Saturday night because I was collapsing on the floor.
"Literally, it was really really bad whatever I've had, it's been awful."
