Gemma Collins is said to be hoping her lucrative deal as prison governor Mama Morton in Chicago: The Musical will fund her lavish wedding to fiancé Rami Hawash.
The GC, 41, is said to have signed a 'big pay cheque' to take over the role from Sinitta at the end of May and will tour the UK with the production.
According to a source close to the star, Gemma is hoping to put her salary towards the 'glitziest wedding possible' after she became engaged to Rami, 28, for a second time in December.
An insider told Closer Magazine: "It's no secret Gemma wants the glitziest, most extravagant wedding possible and, as her demands have continued, she's realised she needs to be pulling in some serious money to make that happen.
"Gemma loves to perform and feels this one last big thing before her and Rami get married.
"The big pay cheque was an added motivation and will help pay for the lavish wedding she's planning."
Mirror Online has contacted Gemma's representative for comment.
Gemma and Rami got back together after she ended her tumultuous and years-long on/off romance with co-star James 'Arg' Argent.
They had first started dating in 2011 and got engaged for the first time in 2013. But after they split in 2014, she moved on with Arg before they split for good in 2020.
It was during the lockdown Gemma and Rami reconnected, and the GC confirmed in December she was set to marry the father-of-one.
It comes as the reality star is reportedly seeing the show as a way to kick-start her acting career, with hopes she could take on Broadway in New York, or even Hollywood.
Gemma announced last week she will be playing the role Mama Morton – with her first dates on stage just a few short weeks away.
Uploading a snap of her flanked by male dancers, the star wrote: “It’s official! I’m gonna be joining @chicagoonstage playing Matron ‘Mama’ Morton from Tues 31st May 2022!”
Gemma will star in the show until the end of July with performance dates in Sunderland, Cardiff, Blackpool, Sheffield, Norwich and Oxford.
While Gemma is known to most as a cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, she has got roots in the world of live performing.
In her youth, the blonde bombshell studied dance and landed a place at the renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
And she is set to join a cast of familiar faces in the production of Chicago which includes stars of the small screen and stage.
Former Coronation Street star Faye Brookes, is taking on the lead role of Roxie Hart, while performers Djalenga Scott, Jamie Baughan and B.E. Wong are playing the roles Velma Kelly, Amos Hart and Mary Sunshine respectively.
