Gemma Collins has revealed her 15-year health issue that led to her wetting herself in public.
The former TOWIE star tends to keep things real with her fans and this subject is no exception.
The 42-year-old has talked about suffering with incontinence since her early 20s and it getting worse as she entered her 40s.
She has said that despite dealing with the problem for almost two decades, she didn't realise how many people deal with it.
Gemma explained she was on the trampoline with her nephew when she realised that she needed to do something about her incontinence.
Speaking to new, Gemma said she has just started to understand how widespread the issue is among people.
She said: "I’ve always suffered from bladder leaks, probably from my mid 20s actually," she says. "But now I’m in my 40s it has definitely got worse.
"There was one moment that really made me think, 'Enough is enough!' I was trampolining with my nephew, Hayden, and absolutely loving life and having fun with him, when all of a sudden I jumped in the air and the floodgates just opened.
"I was thinking, 'Oh my God, what is going on here?' I kept jumping and the floods just kept coming – it was not OK. Out of embarrassment, I started laughing and said to Hayden that we had to leave."
Gemma said that despite understanding the condition now and is able to make light of it, she was concerned at the time.
The reality star said she was left thinking she was going to need an operation to sort the issue out.
One in three women in the UK suffer from bladder incontinence.
Gemma talked about many women cancelling plans due to being worried about leaking, with many thinking that it is an embarrassing issue to open up about.
Gemma now uses Always Discreet incontinence pads to help her go about a normal life, which she says had "changed her life".
As well as this, Gemma has highlighted the importance of "doing Kegel [pelvic floor] exercises", even if women haven't had children.
