Not only is he busy training and getting Helen Skelton into shape for their next Strictly Come Dancing routine but Gorka Marquez is also attempting to pass on some of his dancing wisdom to his little girl.
On Tuesday night (November 22) after Gorka had spent the day with Countryfile host Helen perfecting their Samba as they head into week 10 of the BBC One dance competition, the Spanish dancer had some more teaching to do as three-year-old Mia wanted to learn some moves from here 'Papa'.
Gemma, from Bury, filmed the adorable father and daughter moment in their Greater Manchester home as Gorka instructed the toddler. Holding on to his daughter's hands, Gorka said: "Forward with your left," but as she went the opposite way he added: "That's back, forward with your left."
He continued on, with Gemma praising her daughter in the background, saying she's a 'big girl', before Gorka went on to show her a move from the Charleston which she could do with her hands before flicking her legs backwards into the air. "Yeah then the Jive," Mia said but Gorka had another plan.
After a brief Charleston practice he asked if she wanted to do the Quickstep before getting onto his knees to show her how to get into frame. "Today's lesson," a GIF Gemma added onto the clip read before adding music to her next video as Gorka sweetly got his little girl into the right hold for a Quickstep.
They then ended with some Jive-based kicking and flicking and Gorka wasted no time in sharing his Hits Radio host fiancee's clips to his own Instagram Story with a string of red hearts.
Ahead of Helen and Gorka's Strictly performance on Saturday night, Gemma headed to Blackpool with daughter Mia to support her fiance as he hits the dancefloor with celeb dance partner Helen in the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom. As BBC One dacne contest arrived up north for the weekend, Gemma and her family posed for a sweet group snap with Helen and her children.
Gemma, 38, Gorka, 32, and three-year-old Mia beamed for the camera with former Blue Peter presenter Helen, 39, and her sons Ernie, seven, and Louis, five, and baby Elsie Kate. Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Gemma posted the picture on her Instagram Stories with the words: "Attempt 14 and we're all (almost) looking at the camera."
She then added supportively: "Smash that quickstep tonight guys." Helen also reshared the photo that Gorka had posted to his main grid in which he said: "Ready to quickstep tonight in Blackpool and make the Gang Proud! @helenskelton we’ve got this!" And they definitely did them proud with a near-perfect score.
Helen and Gorka beamed through their energetic quickstep to Valerie by Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse and the pair were highly praised by the judges as they received three 10s and a nine from Craig Revel Horwood.
