Gemma Atkinson's two word verdict on fiancé Strictly's Gorka Márquez pairing

Gemma Atkinson has given her verdict on her partner's pairing for Strictly Come Dancing 2022.

The Hollyoaks star is engaged to BBC Strictly pro Gorka Marquez and is backing him with her full support as he begins another year of dancing with a celebrity contestant. This year, the ballroom master has been paired up with television presenter Helen Skelton.

Being as supportive as ever, Gemma took to Instagram as soon as the pairing was announced on the first episode of the season tonight. She shared an image of the dancers together as she gave a two-word verdict.

She wrote: "Dream team!" The actress also included a gif of someone throwing their arms up in the air in joy.

Gorka also shared a post as he said that "finally the secret is over." Posting the same image, he captioned it: "Finally the secret is over. So excited to be dancing with @helenskelton for this series.

"Already having an absolutely blast and I can’t wait for you to watch our first dance. LET’S GO PARTNER!!!"

Fans were also delighted with the partnership. Jamie said: "Awesome partnership."

Nat said: "Fab duo can’t wait to watch." Lainey said: "Super happy with this team."
