One of the most frustrating things about Borderlands 4's loot system is the way class mods seem to almost never roll in your favor, leaving you with mods that aren't applicable to your class and thus are 100% useless to you – unless you have another character who's the right class. Thankfully, it seems Gearbox has heard from enough players saying the same, as there's a new patch out now that seems to address this very problem.
"Class Mods have been adjusted to drop more for your current character," reads a line under the recent patch notes's "notable changes" section. It's such a small line amongst a massive list of bug fixes and other quality of life stuff, but it really should make a big, positive difference to loot and progression, which is pretty much the whole point of Borderlands 4.
Speaking of which, the patch also adds a new "legendary loot indicator" to your combat radar so it's easier to spot those super rare drops, and your loot feed will now show you how much money you have after you buy something, or pick up cash.
In terms of new content, you can also access the game's first Bounty Pack for free, thanks to Gearbox's festive spirit this time of year. Bounty Pack 1 will add new holiday-themed missions, cosmetics, a new boss, and of course, the thing we're all here for, new legendary loot.
