On Wednesday, a tragic plane collision in DC claimed the life of GE Aerospace employee Vikesh Patel. Larry Culp, chairman and CEO of GE Aerospace, confirmed this devastating news.

In a statement released on social media, GE Aerospace expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Patel and extended heartfelt condolences to all the families affected by the accident. The company described the incident as a tragedy not only for the aviation industry but also for the close-knit GE Aerospace team.
