The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf met with the chief of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Dato Lim Jock Hoi.
The talks took place on Friday on the sidelines of Hajraf's participation in the meetings of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, Hajraf and ASEAN’s Secretary General reviewed the bilateral relations between GCC and ASEAN, ways to support and enhance them in all fields, the importance of intensifying joint cooperation, coordination on regional and international issues of common interest, and support for all efforts aiming at strengthening international peace and security.
