GB3 race winner Will Macintyre has been forced to step back from competing after being diagnosed with cancer.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a successful career since graduating from karts to cars in 2022, finishing runner-up in Ginetta Junior in his first season and repeating that position in the following year's British Formula 4 standings.
