Great British Energy (branded as GB Energy ) is a publicly owned energy investment company set up to back clean power projects. Established by the Great British Energy Act 2025 and headquartered in Aberdeen, it co-invests in renewables, storage and community energy schemes.

Labour pledged to base GB Energy in Scotland and the company is now headquartered in Aberdeen, with additional sites planned for Edinburgh and Glasgow as its remit and structure continue to take shape.
