Gaz Beadle and his family have been met with an outpouring of support as he revealed that wife Emma McVey has suffered a collapsed lung, after going into hospital for surgery this week.
Fans were left concerned for the Geordie Shore star and his loved ones after he took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to post: "very hard, very stressful, very emotional day....crazy what life throws at you sometimes...big day for our family tomorrow," ending his post with a praying emoji."
Gaz was back on Insta on Wednesday to reveal that Emma was in hospital, as he praised her for making sure the children were alright, despite everything she was going. Gaz, who shot to TV fame when Geordie Shore launched in 2011, wrote: ""mums are built different, nothing else matters as long as their kids are OK."
Multi-millionaire Gaz gave fans a candid update about Emma was doing on Fridy, posting a series of photos of him, Emma and their two children Chester and Primrose. On the photo of him with his wife, Emma had an oxygen mask on and, in the accompanying caption, Gaz explained that she'd suffered another health blow, with a collapsed lung.

The post began: "Think it’s very important on here to always show the hard times not just the good stuff… this is the hardest thing our family will ever go through. Kids have been so brave but also cried and been emotional wrecks at bed times and mornings and just missing mummy like crazy… "
He continued: "Emma even with today the news 1 of her lungs has collapsed and is now on oxygen to help bring it back over the weekend hasn’t stopped her 1 bit today when i went in for the hour we get as it clashes with school pick up she was up and walking to the toilet her self which is just amazing and she is just smashing it and we are so proud!"
The photos also featured a card the children had made for Emma, as Gaz had a message for her, adding: "honestly love you so much what a mummy and wife u are... first week is done we survived kids are happy as they can be and tomorrow they get to visit mummy which we are super excited about our big trip to the hospital…"
At the very end of the post, Gaz said he hoped that Emma would be home by the middle of next week.
