The Horological Society of Gaysorn event showcased the latest line of high-end timepieces and accessories from 11 world-class brands Bovet, HYT, Maurice Lacroix, Parmigiani Fleurier, Ulysse Nardin, Carl F Bucherer, Sarcar, Erwin & Sattler, Grand Seiko, L'Epée 1839 and Buben & Zorweg.
In order to reinforce its success as a destination for watches, this exclusive black-tie dinner was hosted by Charn Srivikorn of Gaysorn Property to introduce watch collections imported directly from Switzerland and Japan and curated by Kullachat Charnsethikul, head of the watch and jewellery component. Celebrities who love watches attended the event, including Wuttirak and Sorada Dechapongpun, Apiruk Chutrakul, Suradate and Thanyarat Pakpab, and Angkana Sera.
"Gaysorn Village is a destination for luxury watch lovers. We want to showcase handcrafted luxury watches at this event for everyone to see up close and bring the world's most exclusive watch brands here such as Grand Seiko Evolution 9, Virtuoso VIII Chapter Two Reimagined from Bovet or Executive Tourbillon Free Wheel from Ulysse Nardin," Charn said.
"We also reinforce as a watch destination with the only exclusive boutique in Thailand such as Grand Seiko, Sarcar, Carl F Bucherer, Buben & Zorweg and Maurice Lacroix. We also have AP House by Audemars Piguet, the world-famous Swiss watch brand, which is the first AP House in Southeast Asia and the eighth branch in the world, and Patek Philippe Customer Service."
Among the highlights included Bovet's Virtuoso VIII Chapter Two Reimagined timepiece with grade 5 titanium cases that combines a modern and sporty design. The Master Embrace watches from Maurice Lacroix come in two versions -- one with a blue aventurine dial and a second with a white mother-of-pearl dial embellished with radiating lines emanating from the small seconds indication.
Ulysse Nardin's Blast Tourbillon Free Wheel timepiece boasts the dial's tourbillon bridges and the seven-day power reserve indicator of the Blast Free Wheel that are shaped like boomerangs and look like they are miraculously floating in the air.
