Gay man claims he was hunted and gang-raped by police ahead of World Cup in Qatar

A gay man has claimed he was lured to a hotel room while living in Qatar and gang-raped by law enforcement officers.

Philippines native "Ali", who was working as an office assistant in Qatar, claims that in 2018 he received a message on a gay dating app from another man, who said he was a Turkish worker.

He says he was offered a substantial sum of money to go to the man's hotel room, reports The Daily Star.
